Hopping Time

John has kindly sent several photos taken from the mid 1930's to 1956 and writes:
I spent every year at hopping time at home farm (frank Blest) Wateringbury my Gran was a wonderful picker and picked very "clean" so was invited back every year. For the last few years of this period we were moved to Cannon Lane and finaly stopped when the machines came and drove the hand pickers out.
This looks like Cannon Lane and some of the huts are still there today.
