Wateringbury School on Red Hill

As I remember the school in the late 1950's/60's but for the windows.
I painted the school below when I was 11 in 1964 and it then had large windows in some rooms with a roof window to the main hall. This photo is from a post card that was sent in July 1931 so I guess taken around 1930.
But how and when did the windows change I wonder. The rooms that would have had the larger windows were the main hall and a classroom which was Miss Bennet's class when I was there. A photo posted earlier shows the larger windows so when did they change?
Can anyone help?
