Mill Pond

This is situated at the rear of Warden Mill Close. In the 1950's & 60's the area in front of this building was a pond which became silted up and then a stream was cut through it. As kids we used to call it "the swamp". There is a picture that includes the pond posted earlier in the blog.
Now its just a field which can be seen in the aerial view below. The pond was in the bend of the track and the building above would have been roughly where the house is at the bottom right of the view below.
