6th June 1960 - an Invoice for a Wedding Reception at The Kings Head Hotel

A very good friend recently passed away and in the Wedding Photo album was a copy of the receipt for the Wedding Reception. He and his wife were married at Wateringbury Church on the 6th June 1960 and after had their Wedding Reception at The Kings Head Hotel Wateringbury.

This is a copy of the invoice for the reception.


I was surprised to see that 10% had been added for staff gratuities and a charge for the Solicitor's and court fees for the extension. I am sure £121 was a lot of money in 1960
